May Wedding and Utah Trip

"Uncle" Stan was getting married so we made the annual trip to Utah in May.  We left May 3rd and came back the 9th.  Wish it could have been a longer trip but the kids were still in school and Alan had to get back to take his finals.

Kalin and Porter did so well on the plane!  I thought they'd have more fun, but they are like their mom and didn't really enjoy flying.  They were just too excited to get to Utah!!
Stan with his "bride-to-be" Niki.  The night we got there we had family pics taken and a dinner/surprise wedding party for Stan and Niki at Merrin and Jasons home.  It wasn't much but we tried to decorate a bit and we opened presents and had cake.

The next day we visited the Dinosaur Museum in Ogden with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Stan.

Kalin "posing" for the camera!

Kalin did a great job acting scared!
Mom...not so much!?  It was fun though...I crossed over the line where we weren't supposed to be - but Grandpa gave me permission.  What a great example am I, huh?

It was bright out, but Kalin tried to make a face like the dinosaur in the background.
Saturday was Wedding Day!!  What a beautiful bride!  We are so excited to have Niki in the family!

All the brothers!

Wedding Luncheon.

That night we got together with my family at City Creek Park in SLC.  It was so nice to see everyone!  Above, Tegan was climbing and leaning on Alan - she is a cutie and so super busy!

Eating at Applebees - Our last dinner out with Grandma and Grandpa!
Riding the Frontrunner to SLC to see Temple Square

We stopped by the Family History Library where Grandma Suzanne used to work.  This is a little cabin that I used to visit all the time while at the library with mom.

Oh, I love Temple Square!!!  And miss it - it is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places.
